Long heard about this famed Claypot Laksa over at Alexandra Village Food Centre.
I’ve always liked the idea of having food served in a claypot (hot till the last bite!). It seems that the laksa gravy was slightly thicker than the usual ones you get out there. But strangely, it somehow lacked a certain fragrance and taste to it, which disappointed me a little. The cockles were pretty fresh though, so overall it wasn’t too bad an experience. I’m sure majority of people still find this as one of the best laksa around, perhaps not in my case. That said, you’ll usually have to go early to que because they seem to sell out very quickly. Worth a try, I say!
