When Jamie Oliver first announced he will be opening a restaurant here in Singapore back then, many were anticipating it’s opening. And when the restaurant began operations in VivoCity just last year, the hype was absolutely immense with people lining outside the restaurant. So when I finally had the chance to try it, I was equally as excited. But very unfortunately, my experience was a bad one. Service was bad and the food tastes shockingly bad by Jamie Oliver’s standards. My seafood pasta even arrived at my table with the squid uncooked, that’s a no-no! The rest of the dishes were all mediocre, nothing worth a second visit. Maybe I went there on a bad day, who knows right?
