I’ve always wanted to dine at this beautiful and highly raved restaurant located on the 57th floor of Marina Bay Sands, so I was over the moon to get an evening slot to catch the perfect sunset view! Service was top-notch as expected from one of the finest celebrity-chef restaurant in Singapore.
Started off with their fresh selection of Utah Beach Dousset and Tsarskaya Oysters and I was blown away. They were really fresh and succulent, and I’d go as far as saying probably the best I’ve had from all the other high-profile restaurants in MBS so far.
One of the highlight was the Signature Foie Gras Xiao Long Bao. Sound like a fancy dish at first, but when I chucked one into my mouth, I could clearly taste the distinctive mix of foie gras and truffle coming together, it was so delicious! The mains were equally fantastic, with special mention for the exceptionally well-seared Japanese Madai, that was crisp out yet tender in. The Charcoal Grill Scottish Dry-Aged Grass Fed Beef was pretty good when served with assorted mushrooms and grilled potatoes, though I was hoping for a bigger portion, ha.
To round it up, a pretty pricey spot for an awesome evening of finely crafted fusion food with an amazing view. Would I return? YES, I can’t wait to have the Foie Gras Xiao Long Bao again!
